The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This results in greater twisting and deformation of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
This brace is designed for the front lower section of the chassis and attaches to 3 mounting points. It is intended for Ssangyong Rodius/Stavic I vehicles with a 2.7D engine and 4WD.
