The vehicle’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in chassis twisting or deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front lower chassis brace helps reduce undesirable body movement and improve vehicle rigidity.
The kit comprises 2 front lower 3-point braces. The product is intended only for the 2.5T engine with four-wheel drive (4WD).
