During fast driving, the vehicle’s chassis is exposed to significant loads, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. The front lower chassis brace helps limit body flex and twisting.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase up to threefold compared with the other side. This results in greater body deformation and loss of tyre grip.
Excessive chassis flex and twisting can negatively affect the vehicle’s handling and cause understeer and oversteer.
