The vehicle chassis is subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing interior chassis brace helps reduce these effects.
