The car’s chassis is exposed to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant flex and deformation, as well as body twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing interior chassis brace is designed to reduce these effects. The product has 2 mounting points.
