The vehicle chassis is exposed to the greatest loads due to the driver’s driving style. These loads occur mainly because of the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This leads to significant chassis twisting or body deformation and torsion, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear frame brace helps further connect and strengthen the chassis in the mounting area.
