The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This leads to significant twisting and deformation of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through a corner can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace helps improve the rigidity of the rear section of the chassis and limit its twisting.
