Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Citroen C4 Picasso I

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. The result is significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsional twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
