Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Honda Civic VIII/IX FD/FG/FB

The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body weight shifts during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This can result in considerable twisting and deformation of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps connect the mounting points and limit unwanted bodywork twisting.
