When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to significant twisting and deformation of the chassis, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear lower chassis brace helps increase body stiffness in the mounting area.
