Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Hyundai i30 FD

A vehicle’s chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps limit unwanted body twisting. The brace has 2 mounting points and is intended for Hyundai i30 (FD) 1.6 2WD vehicles.
