The vehicle’s chassis is exposed to significant forces from dynamic loads while driving, particularly during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration. The transfer of body weight can cause the chassis to twist and bend.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. Such loads cause deformation and twisting of the body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower brace helps further connect and stiffen the lower section of the chassis.
