The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle body. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause significant twisting and bending of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace is attached at 4 mounting points.
Suitable for: Mazda 5 I (CR).
