Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Subaru Legacy BM5/BM9

When cornering quickly, braking hard and accelerating, a car’s chassis is subjected to heavy loads, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s mass.

When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis or body to bend and twist, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Bending and twisting of the chassis when driving through corners can cause less predictable handling, including understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace is designed to increase the stiffness of the rear section of the body.
