The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes the bodywork to twist and deform, consequently reducing tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower brace helps increase the stiffness of the rear section of the chassis and limit its twisting.
