The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
During fast cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes chassis twisting or body deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps further connect the mounting points of the rear suspension and reduce unwanted body movement.
