Ultra Racing rear torsion bar for Honda Civic III (EF)

The car’s chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant chassis flex as well as body twisting and deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

This 4-point rear torsion bar is designed to provide additional chassis reinforcement and reduce undesirable body twisting.
