The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and intense acceleration.
During fast cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This results in greater body twisting and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing chassis brace helps increase body support in the mounting area.
