Forge Motorsport oil catch can for Volkswagen Tiguan I 2.0 TFSI

The oil catch can kit is designed to capture as many harmful contaminants as possible, including oil deposits, unburnt fuel vapours and moisture that would otherwise return to the engine’s intake system.

Testing has shown that the kit effectively reduces the formation of sludge and carbon deposits. This allows the Tiguan 2.0 TFSI engine to expel gases from the engine more efficiently and operate more effectively. The oil catch can is therefore also suitable for vehicles intended for further performance upgrades.

The 0.4-litre (400 cm³) tank has a dipstick for checking the level and a conveniently positioned drain valve for easy emptying.

The inner hose is made from smooth, fuel-resistant antistatic nitrile rubber. The outer protection is made from reinforced stainless steel braid, consisting of a partial inner braid and a complete outer braid. This construction protects the kit from pressure-induced expansion and vacuum-induced collapse.

The kit also includes two oil-resistant hoses with stainless steel reinforcement and a black outer braid. The supplied fittings allow installation with an appearance similar to the original equipment, and the engine cover can also be refitted after installation.
