Forge Motorsport turbo muffler delete for Hyundai i20 N III

FMMD7 is a turbo muffler delete kit for Hyundai i20 N. It replaces the original restrictive turbocharger compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence-free solution, improving airflow towards the intercooler.

Design and operation

The original part is fitted to the turbocharger compressor outlet. Its only function is to reduce engine sound signals. Although it effectively quietens the turbocharger sound, it also disrupts airflow where this is not necessary.

The kit removes the chamber and replaces it with a CNC-machined adapter made from solid aluminium. This creates a smooth transition and uninterrupted airflow path to the intercooler, helping to increase airflow to the engine, especially on vehicles with optimised software.

The new hose design has a larger internal volume. It is made with an inner fluorosilicone layer and an outer iron oxide-based layer, making it suitable for withstanding very high temperatures and pressures.

Improved airflow helps provide better throttle response and a more pronounced turbocharger sound. Installation is straightforward, with detailed step-by-step instructions included.

The kit is a direct replacement for the original hose, which can be prone to premature failure. The hose is available exclusively in red ochre, as the material used offers the best heat-resistance properties.

Suitable for: Hyundai I20 III (BC3).
