Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace for Mitsubishi Outlander III 2.4 2WD/4WD

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When weight is transferred in corners, one side of the vehicle can be subjected to three times more force than the other. This causes greater deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting while driving through a corner can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

This rear lower brace helps to further stiffen the chassis at the rear of the vehicle.
